Lloc: Parc Científic i Tecnològic de la UdG (aulari 4-5, edifici Giroemprèn)

Dear teachers,

Here at the Fundació UdG: Innovació i Formació, we are happy to be able to offer you a new edition in our ‘Trends in Teaching’ seminar programme. This year we are going even further and offering you the chance to participate in two workshops with two highly-respected presenters: Kieran Donaghy and Rosie Burke. The workshops will address innovative and stimulating topics, with the strong common denominator of communication. Whatever syllabus you follow in your school, we can all agree that communication is the fundamental aim of language teaching.

Kieran Donaghy will be broadening our outlook in his workshop ‘Short and sweet: using short films to promote creativity and communication’, where attendees will be shown the kinds of hands-on creative activities that can be fitted into any classroom and are always appreciated by the students.

Rosie Burke will offer us a fun, interactive session called ‘Teens Talking’, designed to get tongue-tied teenagers talking, something that many a teacher has struggled with!

We hope that this has whetted your appetite to participate in the kind of seminar event that teachers usually have to travel further afield to attend and we look forward to seeing you on 18th November.
