Master's presentation

The Lifelong Learning Master’s Degree in AMI Montessori Guide 6 to 12 years is designed to provide comprehensive training in the theory and practice of Montessori pedagogy applied to Primary Education. Its goal is to prepare professionals to support children in their holistic development and adaptation to society.

The program covers all curricular areas, which in Montessori education are much broader than in traditional education. It includes philosophy, psychology, and content from the various areas of knowledge, along with specific materials and teaching-learning activities. The methodology combines theoretical classes, hands-on practice with materials, observations, and internships in Montessori schools.

The course also incorporates the foundations of the 3-to-6-year stage. The theoretical and practical content of this stage is integrated throughout the program, creating connections with topics specific to the 6-to-12-year stage. To achieve this, we work in collaboration with an AMI 3-6 trainer. These subjects cannot be validated, as they are an essential part of the master’s program.

The format combines autonomous work and flexible scheduling with online and in-person sessions.
The program runs throughout the academic year, from September 2026 to June 2027, with both in-person and online sessions, including synchronous and asynchronous formats.
The main structure is: online sessions on Mondays and in-person sessions from Tuesday to Thursday (from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.).
The observation period in a school will take place from January 18 to February 14, 2027.
Internships will be held from April 29 to May 30, 2027.
Exams will take place from May 31 to June 17, 2027.

Guides with basic information for each session will be provided, but students will need to create their own descriptions for most of the content. At the beginning of the course, a student manual will be delivered with detailed specifications and program guidelines.
