  • Dani Cañigueral Viñals

    PhD in Educational Innovation and Intervention (University of Vic), researcher in the history of education and trainer for the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) of Montessori guides for the 6 to 12 age group.

    Training in Inclusive Education (University of Vic) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education (University of Girona). He has dedicated most of his professional career to teaching children aged 6 to 12. For the majority of these years, he worked at the Montessori Palau School in Girona, where he also carried out coordination tasks, innovation with the teaching team, and training for families.

    He holds the AMI diploma as a Montessori guide for the 3 to 6 and 6 to 12 age groups, as well as the Montessori certificate for elderly care. He has participated as a speaker at Montessori conferences, educational discussions, and debates on education.

    Currently, he is dedicated to advising Montessori schools, conducting historical research, and directing university master’s programs and training courses for AMI Montessori guides.

  • Carlos A. Hijón Carrasco

    Social Integration Technician and graduate in Early Childhood and Primary Education.
    He has worked for several years as a social integrator in different institutions dedicated to children and adolescents at risk of social exclusion, as well as with adults with mental illness and substance addictions.

    In 2006, he began working as an early childhood education teacher and director in a nursery school linked to an NGO. In 2011, he discovered Maria Montessori’s educational approach and started transforming the school where he worked, with the goal of bringing Montessori to all children, regardless of their social, economic, or cultural status in Spain.

    Certified as an AMI Assistant and Guide for the 0 to 6 age group, his desire to keep progressing led him to train as an AMI Trainer at the Casa dei Bambini level (3–6 years). Currently, his goal is to spread Montessori worldwide, especially in Spain.
